Number called, got screened by iOS 26, hung up without leaving a message. Behaviour matches that of prior scam attempts.

  • Scam

This is a scam call primarily targeting mandarin speakers. The caller is pretending to be from the Royal Mail. I assure you they are not. Do not pick up, do not press “press one for English, press two for mandarin”, and certainly do not call back. Report them, block them and, if you have a bit of time on your hand, sign their number up to gambling sites/ mailing lists to freak them out a little.

  • Spam

Second spam call from the Kendal region within the week. Screened by iOS 26 and like last time, hung up immediately. Block the entire region for now unless you live/ work near Yorkshire.

  • Scam

Called today, got screened by iOS 26, asked me to add them on WhatsApp. Textbook scammer Blocked and reported.

  • Scam

This is a classic paid number scam. They use an automated machine to mass dial consecutive rows of numbers, get you to see the missed call, call them back, then charge you 65p per minute on mobile/ 16p per minute on land land + a 23p per minute “connection charge”. Please report and block to lock them out of the system. If everyone does, it’ll cost them more money to set up the infrastructure than they gain from callbacks.

  • Spam

This number is a WhatsApp call scammer (“Hugo”). As always, my recommendation is to report and block.

  • Scam

This number is a calling machine, with a pre-recorded message pretending to be from the NHS (with an American accent no less lol). DO NOT TRUST THEM & report them to your service provider by forwarding the number to 7726 to lock them out of the system.

  • Scam

This is a confirmed scammer. Their business model predicates on leaving you a missed call, hoping you’d call back then charge you £0.65 per minute if you call back via mobile. DO NOT CALL BACK. I recommend everyone block and report the number immediately.
